10:Am - 2 PM
I was born and raised in the rural town of Elwood, Nebraska with one stoplight, a courthouse, three churches, and a bar. I’m a Cornhusker and a huge sports fan, and after I graduated with a Broadcasting degree from the University of Nebraska, I worked all over the country on the radio. When I’m not working, I’m usually running. I love shopping, going out for salmon and adult beverages, seeing live music and comedy, and listening to all kinds of music.

After working on-air in radio in Southern California for 30 years I decided to come back to where it all started my home town of Ironwood, MI. My radio career started in Ironwood while I was still in High School. After graduating, I attended Gogebic Community College in Ironwood and then went on to Western Michigan University with an art degree. After working various jobs out of college, outside the radio industry, I decided to go back to my first love which was always radio. I graduated from Brown Institute and then headed to Palm Springs, CA to continue my radio career. I decided to return to the Gogebic Range and was immediately hired by WUPM. I enjoy being on-air every day along with spending time outdoors and I enjoy photography. Thank you for listening every afternoon.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Mason knew from a young age that his future would involve music, entertainment or technology. He was the definition of “class clown”, often telling jokes, talking too much and finding himself in detention.
Liveline is LIVE every weeknight from Mason’s home studio, often with a cheering crowd. All-request, people calling in from everywhere, superstar interviews, countdowns, nightly questions, exclusive mixes and stuff you can’t hear anywhere else!
