BOULDER JUNCTION - The Vilas County Aging and Disability Resource Center is holding a seminar called Maximizing Your Medicare, at the Boulder Junction Community Center.

The seminar, put on by the Boulder Junction Public Library will feature J. Patrick Smothers, an elder benefit specialist. The presentation will go over the different parts of Medicare and the choices people have when enrolled. Smothers will also cover the different premiums, deductibles and co-insurance. Elder benefit specialists are called “Red Tape Cutters” in that they are skilled at helping seniors navigate the complicated and vast system of paperwork and choices. The seminar will be on the 20th at 2:30 pm, again at the Boulder Junction Community Center. Refreshments will be served.
