GOGEBIC COUNTY – The August 6th primary is less than a week away.  As Gogebic County voters head to the polls Tuesday, they will find a number of millage renewal questions on the ballot.  Voters will decide on the 1 mill EMS Renewal that would run from 2025-2027 and may be restored up to .50 mill for 2025 to 2027.  The 1 mill renewal “for the continued operation, support and maintenance of the Pat O’Donnell Civic Center for a period of four years from 2025-2028 is also on Tuesday’s ballot.  Voters will be asked whether Gogebic County should authorize a monthly operational surcharge of up to $3 “on the monthly phone bills to be used exclusively for the funding of 911 emergency telephone answering and dispatch service that would run from July 1, 2025, through June, 2030.  Another proposal relates to Gogebic County transits renewal of one-third mill “for the operation of the Gogebic County transit for a period of four years from 2025-2028. That has been in place since 1985 and voters will be asked to levy .60 mill for the operation of the Gogebic-Ontonagon Community Action Agency Senior Citizens Programs in Gogebic County from 2024 through 2027.  Polls on Tuesday will open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m
