BAYFIELD - An Ashland woman has pleaded not guilty to a laundry list of charges in Bayfield County Circuit Court. Mandy Ruberg was given two credit cards to make business related purchases for South Shore Sand and Gravel and South Shore Water Systems. She instead used the card to make numerous personal purchases at the Ashland Walmart. At her initial appearance on the 14th, Ruberg waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to more than 40 counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and more than 40 counts of bail jumping. Authorities believe Ruberg is responsible for more than $100K in losses. Her initial appearance in Bayfield County Court is set for Monday. She faces more than 300 years imprisonment on the list of charges.
