BAYFIELD - It looks as though a man who had over a dozen horses removed from his property will be getting them back. Bayfield County officials have begun the process of returning the animals to Kim Kingley after removing them due to mistreatment. The decision by the county comes after a lawsuit demanding the animals return filed by Kingsley was dismissed at his request on the 2nd of January. Kingsley has stated he was unclear as to why the animals were removed in the first place. Inspection into the conditions in which the animals were being kept showed a clear disregard for their well being, however Bayfield County Administrator Mark Abeles Allison has said the is no legal action pending that would permit the county to continue to hold the animals. Investigation into the case continues.
