IRONWOOD – Festival Ironwood continues today with Volleyball Tournaments starting at 9am.  DJ Music starting at 10 under the Big Top Tent, Historic Ironwood Theatre Tour & silent movie and Barton pipe organ accompaniment at noon, Live Polka music under the Big Top: Richie Yurkovich at 4:00 and the Yooper Style Wood-fire Grilled Chicken Feed also starting at 4:00.  “Launching of the Ducks” for the World’s Largest Duck Pick is at 4:15.  $2 for a duck each duck is a winner and supports the festival.  Daily 50/50 drawings, food music and fun through Saturday at Depot Park in Downtown Ironwood.  A full list of activities online at https://ironwoodchamber.org/festival-ironwood

IRONWOOD – Festival Ironwood Kicks off this afternoon at Depot Park in Downtown Ironwood.  Opening reception for Emberlight Festival of the Arts exhibits at Depot Park starts at 4:00, Live music by Flashback under the big top tent starts at 5:00 with beer and brats being served by the Ironwood/Hurley Rotary Club.  The Giant Moonwalk Jumper opens at 6, the Fat Tire Club Ride starts at depot park at 6, with the Superior Riders Bike Ride starting at 6:30.  Daily 50/50 drawings, food, music and fun at Depot Park starts today and runs through Saturday at Depot Park in Downtown Ironwood.

IRONWOOD – Be aware that with Festival Ironwood the ATV / UTV trail has been temporarily rerouted around Depot Park.  From the East riders need to ride off the trail onto Suffolk, Pewabic and Lawrence streets back to the trail.  Signs are in place to warn riders of the reroute.
